We’re no different than people of hundreds or even thousands of years ago. We still look up at those glistening stars on clear summer nights and feel equally small and insignificant. Wonder has not been diminished by technological advances or the passage of centuries. Perhaps our diminished capacity to see the stars is the greatest shame of bright city nights.
